My kid has a growing facility not that far from his home! Unfortunately he has to leave a lot of the time to meet with numerous clients plus other growers in the marijuana industry.
Because of this, his grow op is left totally vacant, now a lot of things in the growing room are taken care of, and my kid has a complex HVAC plan with timed programs, but he also has lights on a 12 hour brightness plus 12 hour darkness stage.
He even uses a humidifier plus a dehumidifier considering the time of year… All of this is monitored via an app on his iphone. On the bright side, when he leaves, I don’t need to touch anything. On most days I am able to check over his house, flush toilets, turn lights on plus make sure nobody has messed with the growing operation. The issue is that there are strange stages of growing marijuana. If our kid is in the budding stage, I never have to do anything. I feel like he doesn’t leave during marijuana harvesting. The issue is when the weed is in the curing stage! Curing is simply when the pot is separated into glass jars one hundred percent full. If he leaves during curing, I have a few tasks in the growing room. I have to open up the jars to let moisture plus humidity out. If the product feels moist though, that means they did not dry respectfully in harvest. So then both of us have to leave the jar open plus check back every hour until they are. The moisture prefers to work itself out of the jar. It sort of reminds me of when I make sauerkraut.
